JOB LOCATION IS IN IDAHO FALLS

Our experience is second to none; and over the years we have worked with thousands of customers, from local residents with a few pounds of cans to large companies with truckloads of scrap material. Currently, Millcreek Metals seeking a Scrap Processor/Buyer for our Idaho Falls facility.
Basic Job Duties:
- Greets and helps unload scrap metal from customers
- Identifies and sorts different types of materials
- Must be courteous and patient with employees and customers.
- Helps with housekeeping during down times
- Must be willing to fill at other tasks when needed and performing only those jobs on which they have been trained
- Must be willing to work in the weather conditions
- Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
- Responsible for timely, understandable, legible and accurate paperwork
- Able to handle and work with demanding customers
- Ability to work Monday Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Must have forklift operating experience
- Must have steel toed boots
- 1 year of customer service experience required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass background check along with drug and alcohol testing
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Good attendance and punctuality is a must
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Effective written communication skills and ability to complete paperwork promptly
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Understand computer basics
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 80 pounds.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
