    Job Description

    We are looking for a young professional that has the ability to work well in a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing setting.  This individual will assist the manufaucturing support team with designing and implementation of manufacturing projects within a production facility as well as facility improvements. The position may interact with general assembly and mechanical engineering teams. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. 

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:

    ·         Assist manufacturing support team with design and implementation of projects throughout the division

    ·         Develop new and maintain existing facility/manufacturing layouts

    ·         Collaborate with production personnel and management to effectively support safety related initiatives

    ·         Coordinate equipment and facility preventive maintenance

    ·         Analyze data and use to identify root cause, explore and select solutions, implement an action plan, and resolves issues.

    ·         Manage external contractors and internal maintenance support resources as needed

    ·         Justify and procure capital equipment/tooling for existing and or new processes

    ·         Resolve problems causing production shutdown and or low efficiencies whenever they occur.

    ·         Participate/lead safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost saving initiatives through employee involvement

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·         Currently enrolled in a BS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Mechanical Engineering program

    ·         Ability to work well independently and in a team setting

    ·         Good problem-solving capability

    ·         Verbal and written communication skills

    ·         Ability to effectively prioritize projects
