Job Description
REPORTING TO THE GENERAL MANAGER, THE OPERATIONS MANAGER will be responsible for delivering results in safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and continuous improvement for the Miller Welding Automation division. This position requires a strong enterprise-minded leader capable of further developing a best-in-class operations strategy. The ideal candidate will utilize strong business accumen and communication skills to manage an experienced team of professionals, lead continuous improvement activities, and manage relationships with strategic build vendors and international suppliers. ERP planning and process improvement will also play a key role as the division strives to increase the functionality of a newly launched system. This is a leadership role in ITW Welding’s fastest growing business segment with high visibility and important new product introductions. The ideal candidate is experienced leading teams and delivering results, has interest and ability in taking on additional responsibilty, and is able to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
