Job Title: Purchasing/Accounting Agent

Position Type: Full Time, Non-exempt

Role and Responsibilities:

The purchasing/accounting specialist assists with activities concerning commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include:

· Issue purchase orders to subcontractors and vendors

· Issue AIA contract documents to subcontractors and vendors

· Review subcontractor and vendor monthly payable statements and reconcile their account

· Accounts Receivable collections

· Job costing analysis and reconciliation

· Prepare weekly job cost reports

· Record and reconcile travel expenses for project managers

· Reconcile monthly accounts receivable and accounts payable

· Prepare service and small proposals to submit to clients

· Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

· Address the service issues that arise and coordinate with PM what action need to be taken.

· Issue maintenance purchase order after completion of each maintenance reviewed by PM

· Accept invoices against the issued purchase order and route through the accounting department

· Gather information and documentation needed to obtain each project permit, if required.

· Act as point of contact for any engineer, architect, sub-contractor or owner inquiry on pending and previous submittals.
