    Job Description

    Miller Edge is seeking a Manufacturing & Supply Chain Manager, is responsible for ensuring we can efficiently source raw materials, manufacture products, oversees and manages all activities within our production environment related to mechanical and electrical assembly, shipping, receiving, and warehousing. This includes day-to-day operational commitments covering facilities management, resource planning and production execution. T

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage, direct, and implement Manufacturing and Supply Chain strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of on time delivery, site safety, quality, and financial goals for all sites as required.
    • Manage PA Facilities and maintenance needs including; welfare of all employees, capital procurement needs and common budget items.
    • Assure that the distribution of materials and products are in support with company goals.
    • Provide short- and long-term strategic plans to assure growth and capacity plans align with corporate goals.
    • Manage staff in creating a strong work ethic.
    • Develop strategies and process improvements while looking at both long- and short-range opportunities.
    • Establishes manufacturing materials and facility objectives that support corporate goals.
    • Creates, monitors, and implements best practices throughout the manufacturing operations.
    • Responsible for new production launch; including material, logistics, and manufacturing.
    • Negotiate favorable agreements with vendors.
    • Develop and document supply chain management process; including safety stock and lead times.
    • Collaborate with all departments.
    • Establish annual budget and resource requirements for operations.
    • Travel as need to branch plants to assure like programs and processes as needed.
    • Support all Miller Edge, inc., safety standards and regulations.
    • Manage and maintain the manufacturing and supply chain functionality within the enterprise system.
    • Working knowledge of all processes in manufacturing, shipping, and receiving.
    • MUST be hands on to include direct supervision of hourly employees as needed to cover Production Supervisors time off.
    • Other duties may be assigned as necessary

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
    • 10+ years’ experience in functional management, sourcing, inventory, developing and hiring preferred.
    • Strong negotiation skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • Must be able to problem solve.
    • Lean and value stream mapping a plus.
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
