Job Description: As an Accounting & Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in our organization by overseeing and managing all financial activities. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team. This is a hands-on position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance department.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Monitor and analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
Collaborate with department heads to provide financial analysis and support for business decision-making.
Conduct regular financial audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures.
Manage the relationship with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation or equivalent certification a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting and finance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
Proficient in financial management software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
Experience in Insurance or a related field is a plus.
Strong technical Skills is a plus.
