Position Overview:
Miller Weldmaster Corp. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team
and focus on the Eastern territory. This position will be based in Ohio, with the flexibility to work
remotely as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of
industrial machinery, and the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers in the Eastern territory.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate Miller Weldmaster solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build a robust sales pipeline through lead generation and networking.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and technical questions effectively.
3. Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on Miller Weldmaster's product line and industry trends.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a deep understanding of our equipment.
4. Market Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Provide insights and feedback to the company to support product development and marketing
strategies.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and leads in CRM software.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts for sales management.
6. Travel:
- 35% Travel within primarily in the Eastern territory as necessary for customer visits, trade shows, and
industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
