Mill Operator / Manufacturing Operator
Rubber Manufacturing – Full Time

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will help produce rubber compounds by operating millroom equipment and ensuring materials are mixed accurately and safely. This position works in a fast-paced production environment and plays an important role in maintaining product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate millroom equipment including Banbury, Warm-Up Mill, and Slab-Off Mill

• Weigh and prepare raw materials according to mixing instructions

• Monitor equipment, controls, and temperature gauges during production

• Ensure batch consistency and verify materials before mixing

• Complete production paperwork and inspection reports

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Rotate between different areas within the millroom as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Ability to stand, bend, and move for an 8–12 hour shift

• Comfortable working in environments with dust, heat, and machinery

• Basic math and reading skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work overtime when needed
