Job Location - Spartanburg, SC
Position Overview This role is responsible for handling and installing industrial machinery, reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and equipment layouts, and performing precise floor layouts for machinery installations with tolerances of up to 1/16 inch over a 100 foot length.
Responsibilities
Safely inspect and operate industrial power tools
Safely operate lift trucks with capacities up to 7.5 tons
Operate personnel lifts, including scissor lifts and boom lifts
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment layouts
Perform precise machinery floor layouts to tight tolerances
Operate a basic transit when required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Work effectively with supervisors and fellow team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
Requirements
Minimum five years of experience handling and installing industrial machinery
OSHA 10 Certification
Valid lift truck operating license, up to 7.5 ton capacity
Valid personnel lift certification (scissor lifts and boom lifts)
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and perform precise layouts
Tools and PPE Provided by Employee
Standard wrench set, 1/4 inch to 1-1/4 inches (open end, box end, ratchet)
Socket set
Hard hat
Safety gloves
Safety glasses
Steel or composite toed boots
High vis safety vest or T-shirt
