Mincing Spice is a food manufacturing company of spices and herbs, located in South Brunswick Township. This is an entry level position in the Quality Assurance Department, supporting the food safety and quality assurance programs and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Complete customer document requests (questionnaires, technical documents, i.e., specifications, COAs, Letter of Guarantees, Statements, etc.)

· Create and verify accuracy of product labels and related QA paperwork

· Input micro and environmental analysis results

· Communicate with Customer Service about the sales notes (purchase orders)

· Utilize the SAGE X3 ERP System

· Conduct environmental swabbing

· Follow-up on metal detector non-conformances

· Approve 3rd party lab and vendor invoices

· Cross-train with QA personnel

Requirements:

· A four-year degree in Quality, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field is preferred

· Manufacturing experience ideally with food is a plus

· Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Acrobat Professional, etc.)

· SQF management system experience a plus

· SAGE X3 or ERP experience a plus

· Tracegains or Document Compliance Network experience a plus

· Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Assurance

· Certifications from ASQ or related quality assurance/control training preferred

Skills:

· Very detail oriented

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Computer savvy

Physical Requirements:

-Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

-Walking through building and warehouse on occasion

-Ability to read labels and specifications and differentiate between colors

-Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
