  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Subcontract Administrator will support MindPoint Group’s Corporate Operations (Corporate Ops) with the management of subcontractor, independent consultant (1099), and vendor agreements. The role requires working closely with the Contract Administrator, Program Managers and Directors, and executive leadership to ensure subcontractor compliance with prime contract terms, applicable laws and regulations, and company policies.

    Subcontract Management duties:

    • Negotiate, execute, and administer standard and nonstandard agreements with subcontractors, independent consultants (1099s), and vendors
    • Work closely with Accounts Payable, Facility Security Officer (FSO), and IT teams as needed to conduct onboarding and termination activities and to resolve subcontractor issues as they arise
    • Maintain responsive, clear communications with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Ensure final subcontract documents are consistent with agreements reached in negotiations
    • Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with prime contract terms, appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies, and procedures
    • Provide contractual guidance to team members on the development of a Statement of Work (SOW)
    • Coordinate with Contract Administrator and Program Managers as needed to resolve subcontract issues affecting/affected by the Prime Contract
    • Coordinate with Program Managers to monitor supplier cost, scheduling, and technical performance of subcontracts
    • Work with Contract Administrator to maintain and update contract template and clause libraries

    Resource Profile Management duties:

    • Create and maintain resource profile records for subcontractor employees and independent consultants
    • Coordinate with Corporate Ops team members to onboard and off-board resources using a ticketing system

    Processes and Procedures duites:

    • Work with Contracts department personnel and leadership team to develop, improve, and implement processes, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Provide periodic training and ad-hoc guidance on Corporate Contract policies to Program Managers and Directors
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • MUST BE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ years of experience with government contracting; knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is a plus
    • 2+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating contracts and subcontracts in connection with government and/or commercial procurements
    • Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence) is a plus
    • Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
    • MUST be technologically savvy
    • Excellent communication skills to include written and oral
    • Organized, able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
