Volta Group is seeking an experienced Mineral and Leasehold Title Agent to support projects across renewables, transmission, BESS, traditional energy, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of title experience with a strong background in mineral title, leasehold analysis, and chain-of-title research.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct mineral, leasehold, and surface title research, including runsheets and ownership reports

Review and analyze deeds, leases, easements, agreements, and legal descriptions

Identify title defects and support curative efforts

Coordinate with project managers, land agents, and legal teams across multiple project types

Maintain accurate documentation and meet project timelines

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of mineral and leasehold title experience

Strong understanding of title standards, conveyance instruments, and land records

Experience supporting renewables, transmission, BESS, and ROW projects preferred

Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
