Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To increasing the revenue and gross margins of OEM and generic parts, supplies and add-on ancillary items (e.g. IAQ), by leading the development, execution and tracking of annual marketing plans for Mingledorff’s, Inc. Distributors’ Aftermarket business and products.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with Marketing Team, Aftermarket Sales Team, field sales and vendors to understand industry, category and customer trends and translate those insights into actionable marketing plans to achieve Aftermarket business goals and objectives
• Develop, communicate, execute and track monthly store promotions and internal spiff programs, working closely with Operations Managers and Distribution Center Managers to meet goals
• Create, maintain and promote use of marketing tools, including (but not limited to) promotional literature, fliers, sales catalogs, operational processes, e-commerce images/descriptions and product/category training
• Maintain oversight to all store events, assisting field sales with the coordination and communication with both vendors and customers
• Develop, implement and manage a technician loyalty program to grow sales by increasing customer preference and purchase frequency
• Lead marketing of Preseason promotions, serving as the primary liaison between the Aftermarket Sales Team and Marketing Team
• Develop productive relationships with Aftermarket vendors for the purpose of evaluating & selecting of new products, developing & executing marketing promotions and training field sales teams while procuring, managing and maximizing the use of vendor marketing funds
• Leverage electronic media (e-Commerce, social media, email and video) to raise awareness and drive sales of Aftermarket products and promotions with customers and field sales teams
• Monitor and report on Aftermarket sales and promotions, as well as field sales teams’ engagement and progress toward goals
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business preferred
• 3 years of HVAC experience as a Contractor or Counter Sales
• Advanced level MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point) and Adobe Creative Suite skills
• 5 years marketing experience, preferred
• Experience with electronic media to include corporate social media.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Results-oriented with a strong track record of driving positive results
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Up to 30% travel to branches, customers, dealers, distributors and meetings requiring some overnight stay
