Move Coordinator Sales & Customer Service Representative

SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for coordinating all household goods moving services and customer service activities. Candidate will be responsible to work with a team of move coordinators and work closely among a team of sales representatives, Transportation Service Providers, operations dispatch, and driver haulers throughout the country to proactively manage the relocation process, including post delivery service valuations to support the company’s short and long-term strategic business objectives.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED

· Prior experience working in Transportation (including Moving/Storage) a plus

· Experience working with customer service employee team including 4 years of experience in Customer Service or Move Coordinator positions

· Advanced proficiency with entire Microsoft Suite

· Excellent analytical and problem–solving skill for customer challenges, project work, and process improvements

· Identify problems and act to rectify them by employing logical thinking and sound judgment

· Handling escalated customer complaints without upper management intervention 90% of the time

· Ability to work under pressure

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability not only manage people but to work well in a team environment

· Ability to self-motivate

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Acts as the customers main point of coordination for the movement of household goods

· Communicates with the customer to coordinate move and to ensure the highest level of customer service satisfaction

· Oversees all assigned moves from point of shipment acceptance to delivery

· Works directly with Network Service Providers on the scheduling of all moving services, critical needs and problem resolution

· Monitors and tracks coordination of all moves with LTL suppliers from point shipment acceptance to delivery

· Perform other related essential duties assigned or requested
