    Job Description

    Medical sales associate This is a Sales associate position, that will quickly roll into Director of Sales. We are a six-man physician group that is well established in the community over for 20 years. We have our own surgery center, clinic,and we cover 5 hospitals. Our referrals are from over 2000 physicians spanning most of south Bay and beyond. This is the best time to join MISS because the remainder of the year is going to be filled with aggressive growth, new service offerings, and seven new specialties joining us. Currently adding an imaging center, 2 Cath labs, 2 new operating rooms and laboratory to our outpatient center. The construction of this will begin in January and it will take five months to completion. The goal of the sales candidate is to focus on 100 of the targeted physicians in our referral list. There are two focuses for this position. The candidate after training, start sales of over 200 surgeries and treatments that our physicians offer the community. Additionally, the candidate will recruit our referring physicians to join our practice in the formation of a fully integrated multispecialty practice. The candidate will be in the field the majority of the time. The purpose of the position is to create demand for MISS's services by executing marketing strategies and promoting our practice. This position will require a current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of MISS's services and the ability to effectively communicate that knowledge to physician groups and to consumers. Specific Accountabilities • Directly supports the owner in defining and identifying target market areas and participates in setting objectives and forecasts • Maintains daily activity updates in CRM system. Creates reports as necessary • Makes recommendations for new innovative programs that will efficiently increase referral volume • Obtains, analyzes and interprets physician information to guide prioritization of physician contacts and referral development efforts • Plans and schedules office visit and other outreach activities with targeted contacts • Identifies opportunities to improve referring physician/office experience and conversion • Promotes MISS's comprehensive Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) clinic • Promotes and manages Vascular Screening Program • Relationship Building, Market Outreach • Develops and maintains positive relationships with targeted physicians and office staff in key markets to meet MISS referral and consult goals. Requires local travel • Maintains physician target lists to aid execution of outreach and communications strategy • Executes referral strategy as liaison between the external medical community and MISS • Executes clear and transparent communications with external referral sources about specific patient, clinical, and insurance requirements that may impact referral decisions Leverages MISS physicians and increase their visibility in the marketplace by planning and executing Lunch and Learns, CME and other speaking opportunities • Coordinates activities that will promote interest in MISS services and other offerings * Help promote surgery center, emergency center and cath. lab * Help recruiting physicians Requirements • Proven track record of success in customer service, sales or referral development • Very strong relationship building skills • Strong interpersonal and team building skills • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills • Excellent organizational skills • Strong listening skills with the ability to analyze complex information and problem solve • Demonstrated success working independently and without close supervision • Results oriented Requirements for Experience and Education • Minimum of BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Public Affairs or a related field • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years in outside sales or business development • Medical/Radiology Sales Experience or Medical Devices Benefits Include Competitive compensation and bonuses base on productivity • Health, dental, vision insurance • 401(k) plan • Profit Sharing • Tuition Reimbursement • Some Travel (Expenses Covered and milage) • Paid Time Off Employment Type Full-time We are flexible, if the candidate will start part-time and quickly convert into full time position.
