    Position Title: Ministry Assistant Campus: Mesa

    Reports To: Campus Pastor Status: Part-Time (24 hours)

    Position Summary: The ministry assistant is the administrative and welcoming arm for Central Christian Church. This role provides direct administrative support to the Mesa Campus Pastor to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes the administration of our connection requests and follow up, scheduling, and general office duties. This position also ensures that people are welcomed at their first point of contact with the office, whether in person or by phone.

    This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist Campus Pastor’s with admin duties and needs (registrations, room reservations, order food, emails to congregation, calendar management, etc.)

    Manage email requests from staff, volunteers, and congregation

    Handle and resolve general questions/troubleshooting

    Receive, delegate and resolve external inquiries

    Enter check requests

    Connection requests (Office Reception, Office Support, and support other Mesa ministries seasonally)

    Coordinate for Baptisms and Baptism Weekends

    Enter New Here cards and their connection requests for the Campus Pastor

    Enter Coffee with the Pastor connections in Rock monthly

    Lead & recruit front desk and office support volunteers

    Create monthly schedules for front desk volunteers at the Mesa Campus

    Work alongside Campus Coordinator to order communion order supplies

    Assist the Campus Pastor with Men’s Ministry ordering for monthly breakfasts

    Assist with All Staff meeting set up when it occurs at Mesa (2-3 times a year)

    Update Rock for the All Church Calendar, and enter campus specific events, room reservations, registrations, website info, and workflows.

    Coordinate with Local Outreach Lead at Mesa regarding food bags in the front office

    Special registrations (Volunteer appreciation, outreach, campus clean up, etc.)

    Assist POC (pastor on call) & Crisis Responder (Create/Email Signup’s, update Rock)

    Credit card reconciliations

    General office duties such as filing, answering phones, assisting those who come into the office, ordering supplies

    Inventory and order supplies for Mesa (breakroom, boardroom, green room, prayer rooms, office supplies)

    Assist the Associate Campus Pastor with benevolence admin tasks (Mesa): Enter checks into Treasury Gateway, update Rock, update Benevolence Tracking Spreadsheet, update gift card log.

    Check VM and process as necessary

    Admin support for prayer ministry

    As Time Allows:

    Meet with Campus Pastors and attend campus meetings

    Coordinate efforts to keep all records accurate and up to date in ROCK

    Oversee distribution of communication, tools, brochures, and promotional pieces, etc.

    Recruit and lead servant minister team that assists in office administration

    Reception coverage and receive and return voicemails

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

    Must have excellent computer skills

    Excellent written and communication skills

    Careful attention to detail

    Ability to work independently within scope of assignment

    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of apps( Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

    Proficient in the application of Central’s internal site aka Rock.

    Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk sit; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear;. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty-five pounds.
