The Ministry Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our church ministries. This mid-level position is responsible for coordinating programs, managing communications, assisting pastoral staff, and ensuring smooth execution of church events and outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics for weekly ministries, small groups, and special events
Collaborate with ministry leaders to support program planning and execution
Manage ministry calendars, schedules, and volunteer assignments
Communicate with church members, volunteers, and community partners
Create and distribute promotional materials, newsletters, and announcements
Maintain organized records for events, attendance, and outreach activities
Support the pastoral team with administrative and program needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in ministry, communications, nonprofit management, or related field preferred
2–4 years of experience in church operations, nonprofit program management, or administrative coordination
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva)
Comfortable working in a faith-based, team-oriented environment
