LEGAL ASSISTANT
MinistrySafe is looking for a legal assistant to join our team.
ABOUT MINISTRYSAFE:
MinistrySafe helps child-serving organizations protect children from sexual abuse by providing training and protective protocols through an online system. We serve both ministry and secular organizations including churches, camps, schools, childcare, and youth sport organizations. MinistrySafe is affiliated with the law firm of Love & Norris, which provides legal assessment and consultation services to child-serving organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interact with legal clients in a professional manner by email and phone
Proofread documents
Complete aspects of legal consultation process: intake, scheduling, payment
Serve as point person for and coordinate all aspects of live trainings
Schedule calls and appointments
Maintain the company calendar with complete accuracy
Ensure client invoicing is completed correctly and promptly
YOU’RE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS POSITION IF:
You have previous experience working for a law firm
Your personality is more formal or serious
You don’t mind proofreading the same document 3 times
You are a good writer
You aren’t put off by a never-ending ‘to do’ list
You’re comfortable communicating with churches and ministries
You’re ready to learn
