    Hotel Executive Housekeeper

    Job Description:

    Manages the operation of the housekeeping, laundry, and breakfast departments to ensure superior guests' satisfaction. Promotes an atmosphere of cleanliness and superior customer care for hotel guests.

    Hires, trains, evaluates, and disciplines department personnel.

    Directs all activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments in furnishing daily service to guest rooms and public areas. Schedules duties, such as heavy cleaning, mattress rotations, etc.

    Prepares work schedules for staff based on projected occupancy.

    Inspects premises, guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to assure employees maintain the property's superior standards of housekeeping.

    Maintains an inventory of guest and housekeeping supplies and linen, ordering replacement of supplies and equipment as needed.

    Creates a service environment focused on the guest, with a passion for high standards in cleanliness. Responds promptly to customer needs. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and develops alternative solutions.

    Coordinates staff training, including MSDS, OSHA, and safety policies.

    Maintains lost and found.

    Performs room, laundry, and public area attendant duties.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Prepares foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, waffle batter, gravy, etc.

    Stocks coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.

    Sets out and arranges food, such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal for self-service.

    Clears and cleans tables as they are vacated.

    Wipes up spills.

    Removes trash.

    Washes serving equipment and returns to storage.

    Returns reusable food supplies to storage with proper dates on product.

    Restocks self-service food and supplies as needed.

    Follows city, county, and/or state guidelines on food prep, storage, sanitation, and other items the inspector gives to the hotel.

    Takes inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.

    Orders or purchases food supplies.

    Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.

    Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.

    Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.

    Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

    Processes guest check-outs and handles monetary transactions.

    Maintains customers' privacy.

    Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Salary:

    $32,000 - $40,000 dependent on experience.
