    Minnesota Millwork & Fixture is the industry leader with over 30-years of experience serving the hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, and retail sectors. We manufacture commercial casework, millwork, tables, upholstered seating, and metal. We design and build custom products for restaurants, banks, clinics, and hotels.

    We are currently seeking a Key Accounts Manager that can add value to the organization and mesh with our dynamic, creative, and hardworking team. To be successful, you must be a team player, a quick thinker, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done to satisfy our customers.

    Job Summary:

    The position is primarily responsible for managing projects. This involves the development of new business and growing repeat business through relationships they cultivate with satisfied members of their customers’ project teams. Job satisfaction comes from being a leader as we create high quality, complex, and beautiful interior environments for our customers while generating gross margin that assures the financial stability of our company.

    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

    Communicating with clients to ensure that all their needs are understood and addressed

    Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers

    Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests

    Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires

    Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience

    Gain a complete understanding of the scope and specifics of the job

    Handoff each job to the drafting and engineering teams with a definitive schedule for completion

    Supervise the submittal process for accuracy of shop drawings, materials, samples, and product data

    Communicate a schedule for production based on the most current knowledge and the customer’s requirements

    Schedule field measurements as needed

    Order job specific materials based on project requirements

    Review work orders into the shop in collaboration with the drafter, programmer, and shop.

    Monitor progress of production and adjust schedule to field conditions and construction schedule

    Maintain contact with customer and customer’s field personnel

    Review change order requests and submit to estimating for pricing

    Monitor progress of overall job and report to accounting for progress billings

    Negotiate installation subcontracts as needed

    Involvement with postmortem feedback

    Qualifications/ Skills:

    2+ years of experience in commercial projects

    Associates degree in drafting, architecture, or construction-related fields is preferred

    Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications

    Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, estimating software, and electronic database documentation. Knowledge in TradeSoft and AutoCAD is a plus.

    Working knowledge of commercial millwork products (cabinets, countertops, doors, millwork, wood trim, and hardware.

    A self-starter with the ability to multitask; independently managing multiple projects with firm deadlines
