We manufacture commercial casework, millwork, tables, upholstered seating, and metal. We design and build custom products for restaurants, banks, clinics, and hotels. Our customer portfolio includes Melting Pot, Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Bowlero.

    We seek an experienced full-time project manager who can add value to the organization and mesh with our dynamic, creative, and hardworking team. To be successful, you must be a team player, a quick thinker, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done to satisfy our customers.Job Summary:The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion, to customer's expectations, and within budget. Key responsibilities include planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed the entire way.

    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

    Deep Dive into the project to understand the scope and elements of the project.

    Understand the contract and requirements (insurance, payment submissions, delivery instructions)

    Create a Critical Milestone List(Highlighting Green, Yellow, Red)

    Identifies essential purchases and prepayments with purchasing agent

    Identify critical dependencies

    Identify areas for long lead times (materials, drawings, etc.)communicated by the purchasing agent.

    Creating a sample schedule

    Review the architectural designs with the Engineering Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness of project scope (all elements and fixtures are covered).

    Identifying field measurements and constraints that would impact the design and delivery of the project.

    Billing schedule: working with accounting to ensure progress billing is done on a timely basis

    Review and enter work orders as necessary.

    Shipping:

    Prepare and review ship tickets with Hardware and final assembly.

    Line up (ship ticket) and prioritize all work orders for customer deliveries

    Responsible for the profitability and success of the projects; monitors costs and purchases to ensure the project is under budget.

    Effectively communicate information, both written and verbal, issues, requests, & other pertinent items to internal and external parties to ensure projects stay on time, on budget, and within the scope of committed deliverables

    Ensure the timely and quality fulfillment of customer orders through communication, coordination, and teamwork with other functional areas of the company

    Communicate and update on project scope changes, and identify and communicate project changes that impact the customers- Provide Excellent Customer Service and Experience

    Manage assigned projects to ensure optimal profitability through effective planning and monitoring of projects

    Review customer specifications with estimators for accuracy

    Determine production timing/prioritization through planning with Engineering/Production and work with these teams on establishing project milestones

    Enter pertinent data into companyShopPakas needed and forecast accurately

    Closeout lost jobs in a timely matter

    Provide and manage finish samples and forward to the customer for approval

    Attend production meetings as required

    Monitor job costs

    Other duties may be assigned based on department or company business needs

    Education and Experience:

    A Bachelor's degree in building construction, civil engineering or architecture, or certification in project management from an accredited higher education institution and/or at least three (3) years experience of project management within the construction field

    Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawing

    Ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of co-workers in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner

    Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software

    Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles

    Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs

    A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions

    Demonstrate excellence in customer service skills

    Excellent analytical skills

    Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

    Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

    Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

    Ability to deal with conflict in a constructive manner

    Demonstrate strong building relations skills
