Job Description

Our team is looking for a driven, part-time Social Media content creator specialist to the growth of our brand. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy with the brand, website traffic, and revenue. In this role, you will create video content using our brand's Persimmon Mascot known as Kaki, for example, such as this mascot (https://www.tiktok.com/@duolingo/video/7030838886578359558?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id6968817337952683525) or as we have done with our own https://fb.watch/9JT9Dpe6Mg/. The social media content creator specialist will have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. This position is AVAILABLE IN SAN DIEGO, CA with flexible hours.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Assist in creating and developing video content for use on our social media channels and marketing campaigns

• Collaborate with the marketing and content team to ensure the social media strategy is on track

• Other tasks as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Must have a good understanding of TikTok and Instagram/Facebook Reels, trends, and what type of content works on each of these platforms
• Photography or video experience
• Must know how to shoot independently
• Comfortable being on and speaking in front of the camera
• Ability to connect with audiences authentically
• Self-starter
