    Job Description


    Job Title: Clinical Manager Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000

    Reports to : Clinical Director

    Description: The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of all of Miramar Health LLC’s facilities, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and services that align with the facility's policies and procedures. The Clinical Manager works in collaboration with other members of the management team to develop and implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve overall performance.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and supervision to the clinical team, including clinicians, therapists, and support staff.
    • Assist the Clinical Director with delegated responsibilities and/or act as the Clinical Director in the absence of the Clinical Director
    • Providing and documenting direct clinical supervision
    • Monitors and audits documentation on a daily basis in order to ensure that documentation is maintained at the highest level
    • Signs and completes all pending documentation within 24 hours of submission
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the facility's goals and objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Responsible for the management of the clinical function at each operating facility
    • Maintains presence at all facilities and provides supervision or support with clinical tasks
    • Consults with Case Manager Supervisor and Clinical Director on a regular basis to keep them up to date with program performance and needs
    • Oversee the implementation of the KIPU system and ensure that staff is trained and proficient in its use
    • Facilitates regular meetings to ensure that staff is kept well informed and provides treatment team leadership
    • Develop and implement programs and services that address the unique needs of patients with SUD and mental health issues
    • Ensure that patient records are accurate, complete, and secure in compliance with HIPAA regulations
    • Collaborate with other members of the management team to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in staff meetings, interdisciplinary team meetings, and other meetings as needed
    • Facilitates quarterly clinical audits in partnership with the carious department heads
    • Provides direct client care as assigned, which may include individual and family services, as well as, discharge planning, and contacting referral sources
    • Facilitates training on therapeutic modalities, mental health first aid, AMA blocking, and crisis prevention to all members of staff
    • Evaluate Therapeutic concerns and develop policies and procedures
    • Coordinates with Nursing Supervisor and Lead Nurse regarding client treatment issues
    • Completes and submits to Clinical Director all required reporting: including QA reports
    • Coordinates findings from audits with department heads and develops a plan of action
    • Completes Utilization Reviews and supports members of the Clinical Department with the completion
    • Collaborates with Program Manager and Program Coordinators for establishment and consistency of day-to-day operations and delivery of service
    • Participates in program development and interacts with other staff regarding complex scenarios
    • Develop and maintain administrative and clinical operations that provide quality care and outcomes for the clients
    • Monitor staff schedules to ensure that appropriate staffing levels are available to facilitate care in a timely manner
    • Teach, train, and develops new staff members and help them develop a professional roadmap
    • Responsible for reviewing and approving timecards as well as invoices needed for payroll processing
    • Support compliance by adherence to accreditation standards, as well as standards of founding agencies and licensing boards
    • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude
    • When a client’s needs are not met, work to resolve complaints
    • Recognize patient safety is a top priority as well as staff safety and documents and incidents thoroughly
    • Maintain and ensures HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries with all staff and clients
    • Responsible for adhering to the department budget
    • Identify training modules and certifications and develop timelines and costs related to improving clinical services provided
    • Performs administrative functions consistent with the needs of the program during the absence of the Clinical Director and/or Case Manager Supervisor
    • Participates in program staff and planning meetings as required
    • Ensures oversight and facilitation of internship programs including screening and selection, orientation, assignment, supervision, and performance management of interns
    • Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the clinical department
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field
    • Current state license in Psychology, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or equivalent under BBS
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical work practice
    • BBS supervisor for a minimum of 2 years
    • Clinical experience with all target populations required (SUD, SED, DD)
    • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for mental health and social issues
    • CPR and First Aid
    • TB test annually
