If you are an undergraduate seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry, Miraval offers a paid Internship Program that provides practical work experience and an introduction into Miraval's culture and management philosophy. This internship will concentrate in the Sales and Events Division. Candidates will be exposed to various Sales and Events tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Being a liaison between sales, event planning and operations -Assisting with leads, coordinating group and event business, coordinating communication with clients -Providing exceptional service to internal and external guests -Assists with coordination of meetings and events -Building and maintaining relationships with other departments -Assists with onsite planning and operations of events -Other duties as assigned The Sales and Events Intern will take part in a training series which includes exposure to different functions of the resort, job shadowing opportunities, projects and participation in various resort meetings. The intention of this internship is for candidates to immerse themselves in the operation of a luxury wellness resort, while obtaining specific leadership skills to prepare them for future managerial roles.
