Part-time Administrative Assistant
Position Summary
The American Society for Holocaust Education and Remembrance (ASHER) is a start-up nonprofit organization. Working with key partners, ASHER will educate the world about the Holocaust so that its memory and lessons play a prominent role in the fight against antisemitism and hatred.
This individual serves as the team's administrative and logistics support to ensure efficient team workflow across a variety of team activities and responsibilities. The Part-time Administrative Assistant will report to the Executive Director and must demonstrate excellent judgment and take initiative on a wide array of projects.

Required Qualifications:**
2 to 4 years relevant experience or equivalent combination, Bachelors' Degree preferred;
Must have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally;
Must be organized, detail oriented and have demonstrated the ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
Must be able to work with highly sensitive, personal information and maintain strict confidentiality;
Must be able to work with a variety of desktop and online applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Google Docs, etc.), and the internet. Knowledge of database management is a plus;
Demonstrated ability to coordinate events and meetings is required;
Knowledge of and experience working in organizations with informal education offerings is a plus;
Must be able to work independently;
This position is remote with select in person meetings. This individual must live in the New York Tri-State area to be available for local meetings on an as needed basis.
Compensation & Benefits
$30/hour for approx. 20-25 hours per week. Early Friday close.
