The Farmhouse at Peoples Light in Malvern, PA is seeking experienced part-time Line and Prep Cooks.

The Farmhouse at Peoples Light includes a 1700s farmhouse, a modern 175-person ballroom, a hardwood-floored and cathedral-ceilinged indoor pavilion, and a revolutionary-era barn converted into a 350-seat theatre, all surrounded by our meticulously curated English gardens.

All proceeds made at The Farmhouse go to supporting our non-profit cultural and civic center, People’s Light.

Compensation:

• $22.50 hourly
• $500-800 weekly take-home
• Paid bi-weekly

Schedule requirements:

• 25-40 hours per week (depending on events and restaurant days)

Language requirements:

• English

Experience:

• 2+ years of recent culinary experience in a similar role in a high-volume professional kitchen
• A la Carte and banquet experience
• Menu prep and design
• Quality plate production and flavor profiles
• Food safety knowledge 
• ServeSafe certification required
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Staff training and motivation
