John & Molly’s Neighborhood Tavern in Eastampton, NJ seeks a full-time experienced Sous Chef to join our team.

John & Molly’s Neighborhood Tavern is a family-owned tavern housed in a historic 19th-century building serving delicious and creatively prepared beverages, fresh seafood, steaks, sautés, & beers.

The \#1 we want this role to initially accomplish is to take leadership of the kitchen.

Position:

• Sous Chef

Compensation:

• $60-70K salary
• Paid Weekly
• Paid time off

Schedule requirements:

• Approximately 55 hours per week
• Closed Christmas, Easter, 4th of July week, and Thanksgiving

Language requirements:

• English
• Spanish helpful

Experience requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a casual restaurant/tavern that serves liquor as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Staff training & motivation
• Managing 5-10 people
