Casa Bellisima in Newton, NJ is seeking a full-time experienced Executive Chef.

Casa Bellisima (casabellisimanj.com) is an authentic Italian bistro serving classic Italian fare. We’ve built our success on two things: fresh food and great service! We are always finding ways to improve our food, whether that means finding the best sources for local produce, trying new recipes, or following trends in the restaurant industry.

The ideal candidate has the ability to take initiative and show leadership while at the same time being a great team player. You’re a natural leader by example. You love to cook and have a passion for hospitality.

Position:

• Executive Chef

Compensation:

• $90K salary or higher BOE
• Paid time off
• Paid sick days
• Bonus Pay

Other incentives:

Schedule requirements:

• 55 hours per week
• 5 days per week
• 11:00am to 10:00pm

Language requirements:

• English
• Spanish helpful

Experience:

• 3+ years of previous Executive Chef in an upscale casual restaurant
• Italian cuisine
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Budgeting 
• Cost control (maintaining food costs, maximizing profitability)
• Staff training and motivation
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Payroll
• Scheduling
• Managing 5-10 people
