Upscale Restaurant & Bar in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced full-time General Manager.

Upscale Restaurant & Bar serving cocktails and small plates in a chic cafe setting.

Position:

• General Manager

Compensation:

• $75-95K salary
• Paid bi- weekly
• Bonus pay

Schedule requirements:

• 55 hours weekly
• 5 days a week
• Some holidays

Language requirements:

• English

Experience:

• 5 years of management experience in a similar role in an independent upscale casual restaurant or bar
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• P & L management (maintaining food costs, maximizing profitability)
• Staff training and motivation
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Scheduling
• Staff management of >20 employees

High-Level Responsibilities:

• Build and improve upon operational systems that impact the efficiency of service, maximize revenue and covers, and ensure consistently high-quality food and beverage
• Assist in the management of all FOH employees including training, mentoring, and adhering to policies
• Help create and maintain FOH team development (identify talent and nurture growth development)
• Help create and maintain a positive and safe work environment
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
