We are seeking hardworking and reliable Missile Crew Members to join our fiber installation teams across New Mexico. If you have experience in underground construction or directional drilling support, this is a great opportunity to grow in the fiber industry.

What is a Missile Crew Member? Missile (or pneumatic boring) crews are responsible for installing underground conduit by driving a pneumatic “missile” tool horizontally through the ground—commonly used for road crossings, driveways, and tight-access areas.

Responsibilities:

Assist with setup and operation of pneumatic boring (missile) equipment

Dig entry and exit pits for bores

Align and launch missile for accurate underground installations

Install conduit for fiber optic cable

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Work closely with drill operators, locators, and crew members

Follow all safety guidelines and job site procedures

Requirements:

Experience in underground utility construction or similar field preferred

Ability to operate hand tools and small equipment

Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Valid driver’s license

Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
