AVAILABLE POSITION: Assistant Builder Superintendent
Mission Home Builders is looking for an Assistant Builder Superintendent to expand our Austin, Texas residential construction team. This position will assist and support an experienced construction team as it related to residential construction while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is hard-working, has had exposure to the construction industry, has a high sense of urgency, ability to plan, set goals and achieve results.

Job Responsibilities:
Recognize and enforce quality standards through daily inspection of homes under construction.
As directed, inspect homes daily to assure the quality of workmanship, ensure all work is in accordance with the plans and specifications and determine the status as it compares to the project schedule.
Assist with jobsite appearance and maintenance.
Create punch lists of work to be completed.
Assist the Construction Manager in scheduling of subcontractors.
In absence of Superintendent, ensure that all schedules, policies, and guidelines are maintained.
Ensure standards of job site security & safety
Maintain the construction documents at the job site so that all pertinent information is readily available to all members of the team.
Daily reporting of job site progress.
Other duties to support the construction of new homes as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Experience with home building construction process and practices is preferred
Basic-level understanding of building plan sets
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Physical requirements:
· The ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds
