Paralegal certification is not required for eligibility; in fact, the firm is willing to sponsor you in the acquisition of one. The schedule is Monday to Friday, primarily in-office but with the option of a remote day on Fridays after 90 days. The firm offers great flexibility for appointments once the probation period is completed.
The responsibilities include efiling, formatting, proofreading, and compiling documents for lawsuits. The focus areas are neighbor disputes, zoning issues, property line disputes, community nuisances, and more. Calendaring skills using an abacus are required. The ideal candidate should be versatile, capable of multitasking, and able to support four attorneys of varying levels. There is no billable hour requirement.
