Human Resources Manager Needed at Friendly Construction Firm

Fairfield, CT

Construction companies are a clash of cultures. Are you tired of the crass, muddy portables of construction sites, or the stiff, formal corporate bureaucrats of big firms? Come work at a firm that’s clean, friendly, and stable.

A long established, mid-sized Northeast Commercial Construction Firm is looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee all their HR needs. You will run payroll, manage benefits, oversee on-boarding, and file workman's compensation. This construction firm continues to grow and predicts Human Resources will expand from a single person to a small department, giving you the opportunity for leadership. Their portfolio of work includes education centers, healthcare clinics, and hospitals. You will work in a brick-and-mortar building – not a portable. This is a friendly, forgiving place to work, where you will know everyone you work with. Apply now because there aren’t many places like this in the construction industry.

    Highlights:

    • Play a pivotal role as the company continues to grow and transform.
    • Report and partner with the Vice President of Operations on strategic initiatives.
    • Be responsible for all areas of Human Resources and Payroll.
    • Construction and Union experience preferred but not required.
    • Extremely competitive compensation with a comprehensive benefits package.
