    Local construction company has a full-time Accounting Assistant position available. Candidate must have bookkeeping and office experience in order to provide management with support.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Bookkeeping

    Business and job costing performance reporting

    Reporting of A/P

    Reporting of A/R

    Assist with Payroll

    Assist in maintaining spreadsheets, forms and procedures

    COMPETENCIES:

    Ability to handle multiple tasks delegated from different individuals

    Excellent written and verbal communication

    Excellent follow through

    Detail oriented

    Initiative to get things done, solve problems, be proactive

    Analytical - ability to understand numbers, basic computations

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    High School Diploma or GED

    Certifications and degree is a plus

    2 years experience working with QuickBooks required

    5 years bookkeeping experience

    5 years working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
