    POSITION OBJECTIVE:

    The Outbound Customer Sales Manager is responsible for increasing annual customer value by managing a team of sales representatives, ensuring Mitchell Lewis & Staver meets or achieves customer sales targets through outbound engagement efforts (telesales, email marketing, and direct mail). The Outbound Customer Sales Manager is in charge of the hiring, training (selling skills, product training, and industry training), and coaching employees to ensure development and management of a robust sales pipeline, outlining activities and engagement strategies to produce results while developing, monitoring and reporting on sales activities and key performance indicators.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Build a holistic outbound selling approach, including systems, tools, processes, and techniques.
    • Establish department KPI's and objectives for both team and organization.
    • Establish annual budgets and plans related to a defined department vision and 3-year strategic plan.
    • Develop department monitoring mechanisms that allow for transparency of success and gaps.
    • In partnership with Marketing, develop direct to customer marketing processes that enhances transactional close effectiveness.
    • Participate in ideation and provide creative input into the Marketing product and promotion process.
    • Establish a systematic approach to segmenting customers, products, geographies into executable call campaigns.
    • Establish a team to include roles and responsibilities definition, training and onboarding processes, development and career pathing and goal setting.
    • Publish weekly dashboards to provide visibility to outbound sales efforts, activities, and results.
    • Develop executive and leadership presentations to outline vision, goals, objectives, plans and results.

    EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years of sales management experience and 3 years of business to consumer telesales experience.
    • 2+ years of managing a geographically dispersed team.
    • Proven track record in achieving sales targets through outbound/telesales efforts.
    • Deep understanding of systems and tools utilized in an outbound selling environment, to include telephony systems and integration, CRM, ERP, offer and ad id management, campaign management and ecommerce tools and platforms.
    • Strong analytical and data mining skills
    • Must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Access and have experience with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
    • Deep experience in a sales execution role, with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
    • Strong presentation skills at a Senior Leadership level
    • Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills with all levels to drive alignment on common objectives.
    • Experience within the pump industry a plus, but not required.
    • Ability to remain at a stationary position 50% of the time.
    • Ability to move product weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing and pulling.

    EDUCATION REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Science related fields, business, communications or other related disciplines.
