Mitigation Coordinator $23.00 - $27.00 per hour + benefits
When a homeowner experiences a disaster, they are overwhelmed and just want their home back. This role exists to bring order, clarity, and forward momentum through systems, schedules, documentation, and communication. We are seeking a high-detail, high-accountability professional who understands construction and is highly comfortable working on a computer, managing schedules, communicating with customers, and making decisions that keep jobs moving.
Scheduling & Customer Communication
Call customers upon job receipt to schedule mitigation appointments.
Outline arrival windows, property access requirements, and customer prep steps.
Send reminders, communicate schedule changes, and field inbound customer calls.
Routing
Strategically assign crews based on priority, geography, skill set, and equipment needed.
Update schedules on the fly to accommodate emergencies, cancellations, or delays.
Align labor, equipment, and resources for efficient deployment.
Compliance & Administration
Update all job notes in RMS for scheduling status and access details.
Track compliance requirements (e.g., moisture readings, photos) and flag any gaps.
Support
Act as the administrative link between the Mitigation Manager and Project Managers.
Proactively identify service risks and escalate urgent issues
Qualifications:
Mitigation experience
Three years or more of administrative/office work experience, preferable in the construction/mitigation industry
Previous experience working with Restoration Manager Software is helpful
Scheduling, logistics, and dispatch experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate math skills
High school diploma/GED
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate Degree Preferred
Physical Requirement
Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 100% of the time
Constantly operates a computer
Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone
Occasionally will lift up to 10lbs
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
