Position Overview: The Mitigation Manager will lead and build the mitigation division in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving performance, accountability, and operational excellence across all mitigation projects. The right candidate will not only manage day-to-day operations but also help establish structure, develop the team, and ensure alignment with Solid Restoration’s standards as we continue to grow in the DFW market.
Responsibilities:
Lead all mitigation operations in the Fort Worth / DFW market, ensuring jobs are executed efficiently, on time, and to company standards
Coordinate inspections, scopes, and scheduling to maintain strong response times and workflow consistency
Serve as the point of contact for homeowners, insurance carriers, and TPAs, maintaining clear and professional communication
Recruit, train, and develop mitigation technicians, building a reliable and accountable team
Enforce compliance with IICRC standards, safety protocols, and company procedures
Ensure all jobs are fully documented with photos, notes, and updates in company systems
Monitor job costs, labor, and materials to maintain profitability and reduce waste
Work closely with Estimators and Project Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and job progression
Address job challenges and conflicts with a solution-driven mindset
Oversee maintenance, tracking, and accountability of mitigation equipment and company vehicles
Establish structure and consistency within the department as the DFW branch continues to scale
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in mitigation/restoration, with leadership or management experience preferred
IICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD, AMRT, or additional certifications a plus)
Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple jobs, and perform under pressure
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Experience with Xactimate, DASH, or similar platforms (or ability to adapt quickly)
Solid understanding of insurance claims, carrier expectations, and TPA workflows
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
