MITIGATION INVESTMENT HOLDINGS LLC

POSITION DESCRIPTION: FINANCIAL ANALYST/PROJECT MANAGER

MITIGATION INVESTMENT HOLDINGS LLC (MIH) IS SEEKING A FINANCIAL ANALYST TO JOIN OUR GROWING COMPANY IN THE EXCITING INDUSTRY OF WETLAND AND STREAM MITIGATION.  THIS POSITION WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH MANAGEMENT TO CONDUCT FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS, REPORTING AND MARKET RESEARCH.    

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1)      Assist Management with financial analysis of acquisitions, greenfield projects and legacy projects;

2)      Market Research - Conduct research to help better understand new markets, including demand, pricing and competitive dynamics.

3)      Prepare corporate presentations, operational reporting and Board presentations;

4)      Manage projects and support regional project managers.

5)      Support subsidiary companies

OTHER AREAS OF INVOLVEMENT:

1)      Participate with Business Plan Development;

2)      Information and Database Management - Build/populate/maintain various information databases to track and evaluate investments and project’s status.                          

QUALIFICATIONS:

1)      Strong financial skills to analyze investment opportunities including IRR, MOIC, ROI, NPV etc.;

2)      Strong Excel modeling skills;

3)      Banking, real estate, financial services or real estate background preferable;

4)      Minimum of 2-5 years of solid practical financial analyst experience;

5)      Familiarity with database management tools and database development;

6)      Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:    BS, preferably in finance

LOCATION AND TRAVEL:  Main office is in Columbia, IL.   Occasional travel involved.
