About the Role:

Bright Horizon Care LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Mitigation Lead Technician to join our growing team in Huntington Beach, CA. Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise mitigation crews on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation job sites

Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and containment setup

Monitor and document drying progress using moisture meters, thermal imaging, and drying equipment

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with IICRC standards and safety protocols

Communicate job status updates to project managers and clients professionally

Train and mentor junior technicians on mitigation best practices and equipment use

Maintain, inspect, and transport mitigation equipment and company vehicles

Requirements:

2+ years of hands-on experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation/restoration

IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred

Proven ability to lead a crew and manage job site operations independently

Proficiency with drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and moisture detection tools

Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces

Availability for on-call and emergency response shifts as needed
