Pay: $17–$19.50 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with early starts, after-hours, weekends, or on-call work as required
The Mitigation Technician plays a hands-on role in emergency response and property stabilization following water, fire, smoke, mold, or other damage. This is a field-driven position focused on performing mitigation services safely, efficiently, and professionally while supporting clients during stressful situations.

Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation, and mold remediation
Assist with demolition, removal, and cleanup as part of the mitigation process
Set up, monitor, and maintain drying and mitigation equipment
Accurately document job progress, conditions, and readings
Communicate professionally with team members and customers on-site
Maintain organization of equipment, tools, and job vehicles
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency response
Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures
Clear communication and time management skills
Comfort working in damaged or hazardous environments
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
IICRC certifications are a plus (WRT, FSRT, AMRT, etc.)
This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to safely perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance)
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb stairs or ladders throughout the workday
Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures
Safely load and unload equipment, move materials, and maneuver tools
Tolerate exposure to dust, odors, moisture, cleaning agents, and damaged environments
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, masks, respirators, and protective suits when needed
Overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call work should be expected based on emergency response needs and are paid in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening if applicable
