Mitra Chem is a Silicon Valley startup working at the intersection of machine learning and battery development. We live at the cutting-edge of battery technology and aim to deliver world-class materials for the EV market within the next few years. Our goal is to be the first lithium-ion battery materials manufacturer to shorten the lab-to-production timeline by >90% through accelerated R&D and vertically integrated process optimization. We will first focus on Li-ion battery cathodes, converting them from commodity chemicals into a product platform, customized for different applications. We are setting up a state-of-the-art 15,600 sq ft industrial R&D center in Mountain View, CA. Join our team to be a part of the growing energy revolution.
We are looking for a Product Analyst who will analyze pricing and costs, conduct market research and scenario modeling strategic pathways forward to support our organization's efforts bringing our cathode products to the market.
Responsibilities:
Build, update and optimize should-cost models to gain insights into the raw materials and production costs of our products. This analysis will be crucial for cost optimization.
Collaborate with our engineering team and external vendors to assess different routes to mitigate processing costs, ensuring that our production processes are efficient and cost-effective.
Distill conclusions from modeling work and market research to recommend strategies, contributing to improved efficiency.
Conduct thorough market research to develop material pricing models. This will involve staying updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
Model production costs at different levels, including the cathode, battery cell, and battery pack levels, to assess the viability of different generations of materials
Perform competitor analysis and provide market insights to help us maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Collaborate with both commercial and technical teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across functions.
Qualifications:
If you meet these qualifications and are passionate about contributing to the advancement of renewable energy and sustainability, we invite you to join our team as a Product Analyst. Your insights and analytical skills will play a vital role in driving our mission forward.
