We are seeking a SALES SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR to join our team in Chesapeake, VA! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all functions of the sales transaction from quotation to invoice with full Account management responsibility. Purchasing and Inventory management experience with overseas manufacturing sites and US contract warehouse required. Order management, including, but not limited to, creation, shipping, invoicing, issuing certifications, updating and maintaining databases, creating and distributing paperwork packages online in multiple customer EDI sites and SAP. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and issue customer quarterly contract pricing.
Set up and maintain customer accounts working with the site controller.
Process vendor invoicing and work with site account payables.
Liaise daily with oversees manufacturing, sales associates, and overseas staff.
Assist customers as requested with orders and shipments, including arranging shipments and providing detailed tracking information.
Coordinate with overseas manufacturing on customer dictated requirements, customer complaints, returns, and inquiries.
Arrange, handle and advise on air and ocean shipments of Import and Export with a clear understanding of all regulatory requirements.
Sales reporting, budget planning, and group presentations.
Group document and contract controller, responsibilities include, but are not limited to maintaining and keeping in order all files of Contracts, Customer data, Purchase orders, Drawings, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages, Competitor data, Customer correspondence files, databases, International Automotive Task Force (IATF) / ISO documentation and electronic generated forecasting.
Customer-required site audits and Supplier site training.
Complete clerical projects and special assignments as required.
Set up and plan meetings, trade shows, and company functions
Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of company proprietary product information.
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
Document and update customer records based on interactions
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Manage database input
Organize and schedule meetings, trade shows, and company functions
Prepare reports and deliver presentations
