    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Assists engineers and R&D staff with their programming related tasks. Utilizes basic programming and database knowledge to create new tools necessasry to professionally the manage R&D partnership program. Relies on instructions and mentoring to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. The role, however, requires an individual capable of working automously. Some assignments allow for the individuals creativity and innovation towards solving real programming challenges in support of the business.

     

    Major Duties Include:

    1. Be the lead database developer for tracking financial metrics of partnership agreements
    2. Be the lead developer to automate generation of KPI plots
    3. Contribute to creation of best in class intranet, internet, and sharepoint pages
    4. Prepares graphics based on instructions furnished by engineers, designers or other technical employees.
    5. Some scan/copy and otherwise provide other general administrative support activities as needed
    6. Support engineers and technical staff in the analysis, synthesis, and recommendations for product and business strategies

    Required Skills Required Experience

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.

     

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with at least four semesters completed by start of internship/co-op.

    • Strong academic performance
    • Strong technical problem-solving abilities
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIRED AND WILL BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE ALL CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

     

    • College major in computer engineering, computer science, or related discipline preferred.
    • Differentiating skills for candidates are computer programming knowledge, demonstrable completion of past software project, business & sales knowledge, ability to work automously, and demonstrated ambition for success.
    • Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study
