 SAP SUPPORT ANALYST (SD / MM)

Mitsui Bussan Logistics Inc. ("MBLI"​) is an established and growing company providing Demand Chain Management services to North American based convenience store operators and their upstream supplier and wholesale distribution partners.

MBLI is seeking a highly motivated SAP Support Analyst to join our team. The candidate will report to the IT Manager and must have the ability to effectively interface with internal users, software engineers, other support team members and senior management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for owning processes among OTC and PTP SAP components
• Lead / Participate in project team efforts for implementation and maintenance of SAP
• Analyze new business processes and changes to existing functionalities, translating user requirements into functional and technical design specifications
• Coordinate with the SAP users and SAP functional team. (Development to support) to ensure template documentation, including status reports
• Arrange, lead and participate SAP team meetings (developers and support) on a frequent basis
• Review all development efforts affecting existing functionality to understand integration and process impact and include other module responsible in development work as required
• Develop functional specs
• Review functional and technical designs created by other consultants, applying in depth SAP knowledge
• Effectively work with business and IT team to prioritize and plan implementation of changes
• Consult with business users to interpret and understand issues, apply expertise to recommend appropriate solutions and analyze existing system application. This will include interpreting, analyzing and documenting requirements to issues raised by various persons within the organization
• Support escalated application issues
• Interface with client and vendor IT personnel to accomplish assigned deliverable
• Directs the work done by vendors and consultants from outside the company to develop and implement system solutions and maintain overall system performance

 REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology primarily in an SAP ECC  or S/4 HANA project / support environment
• 1 - 2 full life cycle SAP  implementations using SAP best practices
• Strong business process knowledge in at least one of OTC, PTP SAP Components
• Good understanding of ERP architecture and IT infrastructure, interfaces and batch jobs
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system supported solutions
• Strong business communication, leadership, stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills
• Strong integration knowledge among Sales and Distribution, Material Management, Financial Accounting processes. SD, MM and FI
• Should be strong in information system development life cycle methodologies, software testing and change control processes.
• Experience in working on onshore-offshore model projects 
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills
• Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple activities
• Must work well both independently and in a team environment
• Solid relationship-building skills, team player
• Strongly results driven, quick learner, self-starter
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field

 ADDITIONAL SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Professional certifications are a plus, primarily in SAP SD and MM
