Mitten Raised Bakery is searching for a high-energy candidate who is interested in learning the pastry arts by apprenticing in the every day operations of this locally owned and operated bakery! We NEED you! Come help sustain our continued growth and join us on our mission to fill the Mitten State with really super duper fun and crazy delicious treats. We love people with a passion for baking and making people smile. We are obviously willing to train eager bakers but it never hurts to have a little experience from Mom's kitchen as have a big need for experienced bakers to "jump into the mix" : ) right away.

Part time and full time opportunities available. Flexible scheduling is an option too.

Responsibilities:

Follow recipes to prepare various batters, doughs, frostings, etc

Prepare assorted pastries for daily business hours (donuts, cookies, muffins, etc)

Provide excellent customer service, ability to take accurate orders and payments (without customers, who would eat what we bake?)

Maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

Working on your feet for duration of shift

Need to know your math or be really good with a calculator - correctly making change and measuring ingredients are key.

Punctual, reliable and great attitude

Ownership mentality - I'm inviting you to help me grow a business, I need you to care.
