THE ROLE: We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Tester to join our growing Professional Services team. The Quality Assurance Automation Tester role at Miva is an exciting and fast paced position that will challenge you with new problems to solve and new QA technologies to learn.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to research, plan, and implement a first-class automated regression testing framework. You will work with our Principal Web Developer to build a robust end-to-end testing strategy to be incorporated into a modern CI/CD deployment pipeline. You will get to work and collaborate with our all-star team of Web Developers, Product Owners, Designers, and User Experience professionals, who have decades of combined experience in both web development and in the ecommerce space.

If you possess a wide variety of experience in Quality Assurance Automation and end-to-end testing strategies, strong problem-solving skills, and you love to tackle new challenges and ideas, then we want to talk to you!

YOU WILL:

• Lead and exemplify a quality mindset within cross-functional project teams
• Perform comprehensive verification, validation, functional, integration, and regression testing on custom ecommerce solutions within an agile development environment
• Assess software quality, performance, design integrity, and usability/accessibility on multiple devices and screen sizes using written requirements, mockups, and test plans
• Set up and maintain automation testing frameworks
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts within an automation testing framework
• Design, develop, and maintain manual test plans to supplement automation testing
• Report and document bugs, defects, performance bottlenecks, design discrepancies, and usability/accessibility concerns revealed during the QA process
• Scope and provide estimates for the testing phase for projects of varying size and objectives
• Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Web Development teams to ensure timely delivery of required testing results and deliverables
• Stay current with modern and emerging testing tools and test strategies
• Serve as an advocate for the software quality mindset across the organization

YOU HAVE:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Automation Tester in an agile web development environment, preferably working on an ecommerce platform
• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement quality initiatives for cross-functional teams
• Extensive knowledge of software Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Outstanding organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
• Ability to effectively document and troubleshoot errors

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience using Atlassian suite of development workflow tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
• Experience using accessibility evaluation tools (Axe, WAVE)
• Experience performing security assessments and load testing
