Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities: • Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Properly identify customers' age through identification cards, and serve alcoholic beverages following all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks Qualifications: • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Previous experience working in food service is preferred Compensation: $12.14 per hour plus tips
