Appalachian Community Services is seeking a Mobile Crisis Dispatcher to serve as the first point of contact for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises. This role is critical to coordinating rapid response efforts and supporting our Behavioral Health Urgent Care team.

Key Responsibilities
Answer and triage incoming crisis calls with empathy and professionalism
Dispatch Mobile Crisis Team members quickly and accurately
Provide real-time support and de-escalation to callers
Register and welcome individuals to Behavioral Health Urgent Care
Complete insurance verifications and enrollment processes
Maintain accurate documentation and monitor active crisis cases
Collaborate with clinicians, EMS, law enforcement, and community partners
