Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role requires travel to different job sites to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and systems on-site

• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on diesel equipment

• Maintain accurate service records and reports

• Operate diagnostic tools and specialized equipment

• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies

• Communicate with customers and team members regarding repairs and timelines

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and environmental regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related field

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Must be willing and able to travel to various job sites as needed

• Basic computer and mobile technology skills for service documentation

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a strong plus

• ASE certifications or vocational training in diesel mechanics

• Experience with heavy equipment and off-road vehicles
