The Central Florida Diaper Bank is searching for a part-time bilingual, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Mobile Distribution Coordinator to join our team!     We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to lead our mobile diaper distribution program. This position is responsible for coordinating community distributions, operating the agency van, managing inventory logistics, and enhancing outreach through data reporting and social media engagement. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish or Haitian Creole), calm under pressure, and consistently maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with families, partners, and volunteers.

    Key Responsibilities

    Mobile Distribution & Logistics

    • Drive the agency van to and from community distribution events.

    • Load, unload, and distribute diaper supplies (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs).

    • Set up and break down distribution equipment and materials at event sites.

    • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.

    Event Coordination & Outreach

    • Coordinate the mobile distribution calendar with internal staff and community partners.

    • Identify new outreach opportunities with local agencies, churches, and health organizations.

    • Create and manage social media content to promote distribution events and community engagement.

    • Serve as the on-site lead and public representative of the diaper bank during events.

    Reporting & Administrative Tasks

    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, participants served, and mileage logs.

    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.

    • Collect, organize, and report impact data including event attendance and community feedback.

    Volunteer & Partner Coordination

    • Engage and supervise volunteers during mobile events.

    • Coordinate with community partner agencies to ensure seamless and respectful distributions.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Associate's degree required.

    3+ years of experience in Nonprofit Management, Community Outreach, or Event Coordination a plus

    Proven success in managing mobile distributions or large-scale community programs

    Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Social media management experience

    Experience with CRM systems (Airtable preferred)

    Bilingual (Spanish or Creole required)

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to work independently and take initiative in fast-paced environments

    Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. Must have reliable transportation.

    LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must pass Level II background screening Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License, clean driving record and have daily access to reliable transportation to and from work and for travel to off-site locations.

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

    Ability to sit and operate a computer for extended periods.

    Ability to speak in front of large groups.

    Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

    Office environment

    Must also be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions for community events

    Ability to travel within Orlando and the surrounding Central Florida area as needed

    Must be available to work flexible hours including day, night, and weekends. Must have reliable transportation.
